Queensland Athletics extends an invitation to all distance runners to participate in the 2016 Queensland Cross Country Championships on Saturday 30th July.
This year the Championships will be staged at the excellent cross country course at the Maleny Golf Club. Maleny is a small, scenic town 90 kilometres north of Brisbane, overlooking the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The spectator friendly and popular course has been a feature of the Sunshine Coast Cross Country Series for the last few years.
All runners aged 6 and up, of all abilities, are encouraged to compete. There are no qualifying standards – everyone is welcome. The competition is also the final selection trial for the Queensland Heat Cross Country Team (U14-Open & Para).
